Accommodation:
20 spacious, air conditioned, luxury, over water chalets all with beautiful views.
Built on stilts in the Inhambane Bay on the Barra Peninsula offering peace & tranquillity.

Located on the southern section of the Barra Peninsula in the palm-fringed Inhambane Bay, 25 km from Inhambane city - 485km north of Maputo.

Access:
By road: From Maputo follow the EN1 to Lindela, turn right to Inhambane, and follow the airport road out of town towards Barra & Tofo. Dirt road from Bar Babalaza for the last 10 km.
By bus: Barra Bus runs twice-monthly trips to and from Midrand, Johannesburg

Dress:
Being in the tropics it rarely gets cold. Dress is casual at all times. A tracksuit or a jersey is recommended in case of occasional cool evenings. Sun hat, cap and sun protection lotion are recommended.
Sea temperatures vary between 20 and 29 degrees allowing for comfortable swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving all year round.

There is a hospital in the town of Inhambane, however you are advised to take out medical insurance and ensure it covers medical air evacuation in case of an emergency, which could not be dealt with locally..
