Ponta Morrungulo Holiday Resort:

Morrungulo Lodge (Nelson's Bay) has now been divided in two sites, (Baia de Morrungulo and Ponta Morrungulo ) Ponta Morrungulo 's (Southern end - site) offers beachfront chalets, casitas, barracas, camping and ablution blocks.
Restaurant/ Bar is available  

CHALET (Beachfront) : (4 sleeper) There are 7 of these particular chalets right on the beach front Consists of kitchen/dining area, one hot and cold gas shower and separate toilet, 2 bedrooms each sleeping 2 people. The chalet is equipped with deep freeze, 2 plate gas stove, crockery, cutlery, pots, etc. Blankets, sheets and mosquito nets are supplied but clients MUST BRING THEIR OWN TOWELS and toiletries.

There is also the provision in the dining area to fold down the benches to accommodate another 2 guests. Should there be more than 4 people utilising the chalet there is an additional charge of R130 per extra adult and R70 per child. N.B . Extra guests must bring their own mattesses/nets/bedding as this is NOT supplied . Tents are not permitted in casita area.  

CASITA: (Not on beachfront) there are 7 double storey units situated on the rise behind the chalets. These have 2 bedrooms (1 double bedroom downstairs and 2 single beds upstairs) Kitchen/dining area, one hot and cold gas shower and separate toilet. The casita is equipped with deep freeze, 2 plate gas stove, crockery, cutlery, pots, etc. Blankets, sheets and mosquito nets are supplied but clients MUST BRING THEIR OWN TOWELS and toiletries, as these are not supplied. BARRACAS (Lapa) There are 4 of these open thatched 5m x 4 m concrete floored structures that each has a power point (5 amp), light and shelving. Most campers utilize these as a central living area and camp around the barraca. The barracas are located behind the chalets but close to the gas ablution blocks. Ablution blocks equipped with gas hot water showers - You must bring your own loo paper as this is not supplied.

CAMPING: We also offer camping in demarcated lawned campsites for approximately 100 people under the shade of coconut and indigenous trees. Ablution blocks equipped with gas hot water showers - Bring your own toilet paper as this is not supplied.

Scuba Diving:
There is a Dive Center, permanently situated at Morrungulo, with a 2 star Instructor and 2 certified dive masters and both skippers are D.O.T. registered. We have 2.5 meter Stingray rubber ducks that we use for diving and fishing charters. Come and dive the famous Baixo Sylvia reef that is 14.8 km long and ranges from 8-25m. Another reef known as New Years is 8 km long and also ranges from 10-24m deep. Deep dives sites range from 30-45m in pristine clear water (Marlin seen when diving). Snorkeling to be done at low tide 3.5km down south from the camp at a reef that comes out of the water, with all the reef fish and corals that a diver sees on a dive.

Fishing:
You can fish off your own boat, surf, fly or spear fish or book a fishing trip via the Dive Centre where you have skippered charters and can enjoy fishing without the hassle of organising your rods, baiting traces, etc.

NO PETS ALLOWED. NO QUAD BIKES inside the CAMP. Only SILENT private generators allowed.
