The Lodge situated 5 minute boat trip across the lagoon and offers the best of both words:

The calm waters of the lagoon right outside your door and the open ocean and its splendors straight over the dunes

The calm and clear waters of the lagoon gradually slope away from the white beach. One would think you could walk to the main land. Over the dunes behind the lodge, a leisurely 20 minute walk will lead you to the wide open waters of the sea

Accommodation (Not self-catering):

The chalets consist of the following:
1. Chalets 1 & 7 (Sleeps 6).
The main bedroom has a queen sized bed.
The second bedroom has two single beds with an extended sleeping area in the lounge with two single beds.

2. Chalets 2, 6, 8, 9, 10 & 11 (Sleeps 4).  
The main bedroom has a queen sized bed.
Two single beds in the extended sleeping area.

3. Chalets 3, 4 & 5 for couples (Honeymoon Suites).

Note! Chalets 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are situated higher than the other chalets.
Please take note of these chalets when making reservations, as elders and
very young children may not be able to climb up to chalets.

Restaurant on Site and facilities
Mahelane Lodge is a non-self catering lodge that offers its guests to 4-star cuisine on site. The open-plan restaurant provides a deck for guests to take in the beauty of the tural surroundings, while the dish of your choice is being prepared by our qualified chief our guest can take in the breath-taking sunset of Mozambique.
The Our restaurant seats up to 120 people and is a great get-away venue for company team-building and conference events (conference room available), Wedding venues and Party venue.

The Large Swimming pool is reserved for residing guests and day restaurant guests only; this provides the guests with an exclusive experience during their stay at Mahelane.
 All rentals and Water sports are offered to residing guests only.
